When most people think of Colorado, they think skiing. In the United States, Colorado is the king skiing destination. As a Colorado homer it’s hard not to talk about the other attractions that make Colorado a great place to be. But skiing is what Colorado does best, and today our job is to describe group travel to Colorado Ski Resorts.
Colorado has a population of around 4 million people but welcomes two to three times that many skiers a year. Seven of the ten busiest ski resorts in the United States are in Colorado. The resorts in Summit County are consistently ranked as the most popular skiing destinations in America. Speaking of consistency, Vail Ski Resort is consistently rated the top ski resort in the world.
Colorado ski resorts offer something for every type of skier. From the ultra-sheik slopes at Aspen to the more old school runs at Loveland. Colorado snow is known for being an almost perfect blend of fluffy powder that gives and unmatched downhill ride. Skiers enjoy this world class powder on ski slopes that run the gamut from never-put-on-skies-before beginners to gold-medal-olympic experts.
Colorado ski resorts are extremely well-equipped to accommodate groups. With an array of slope difficulty and ski classes galore, everyone in the group will be able to ski.
